It began in 2020 with a single candle in Lake Geneva. A blend of bordeaux, coffee, and burnt sugar that I made to mark a moment in time... one that turned out to belong to me all along. Something about it felt like coming home. So I kept going back. Every trip, same candle. Same ritual. Same feeling.
Six years later that blend became Lust. Our first sin. Our first chapter.
The Candle Alchemist was born from a belief that the everyday deserves to feel sacred. That a candle isn't just a scented object... it's an invitation. To slow down. To be present. To indulge in something that exists purely to make you feel alive.
The Seven Deadly Sins collection isn't a warning. It's a reclamation — an invitation to indulge in what you were told to resist. You were taught that desire is dangerous, that pride is shameful, that wanting more makes you less. But what if leaning into them with intention brought you closer to yourself than resisting them ever did? These scents were made for that feeling. The one that feels less like sin and more like devotion.
Ritual has always lived in my bones. This brand is the fullest expression of that.
